Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep) is an ancient technique of guided meditation for deep relaxation that has healing effects for body and mind. During a Yoga Nidra session we move through different states of consciousness. Through an exploration of body and breath as well as of visualisations we essentially become aware of our deep core value in life  (Sankalpa). During Yoga Nidra we disidentify from the mind and allow space to connect to our true nature, hence beginning to heal on a cellular level.

Yoga Nidra has numerous benefits for the body and the psyche and is highly useful tool to improve well-being and facilitate healing. It is a highly effective method for reducing stress and anxiety. As we drop deeper into more restorative (from Beta to Delta) brainwaves it can be said that Yoga Nidra produces similar benefits as a few hours of deep sleep! *

In a Yoga Nidra session we disconnect from the demands of the external world, we connect to our inner peace and we rest our way to self-healing.
